Jedi Survivor Collectibles: My Obsessive Guide to Finding (Almost) Everything

Here’s a wild stat for you — Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has over 350 collectibles scattered across its massive planets. Three hundred and fifty! When I first heard that number, I genuinely considered calling in sick to work for a week. As someone who can’t leave a game at 98% completion, this was basically a personal attack by Respawn Entertainment.

If you’re anything like me and you can’t sleep knowing there’s an undiscovered chest on Koboh, this guide is for you. I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of hours hunting down every single Jedi Survivor collectible, and I’m here to share what I learned the hard way.

What Counts as a Collectible in Jedi Survivor?

Before we dive in, let’s break down what you’re actually looking for. It’s not just one type of shiny thing — there’s a whole buffet of stuff to grab.

  • Seed Pods — used for Pyloon’s Saloon rooftop garden
  • Treasures — cosmetic items like lightsaber parts, outfits, and hair styles
  • Databank Entries — lore scattered across every planet
  • Force Essences — permanent upgrades to health, Force, and skill points
  • Stim Canister Upgrades — extra healing charges from BD-1
  • Perk Slots — hidden upgrades that expand Cal’s loadout

The Force Essences and Stim Canisters are the ones that actually matter for gameplay. But honestly, I got way more obsessed with finding every single lightsaber material than I probably should have. There’s something about a copper-finished crossguard hilt that just hits different.

Koboh Is Where Your Sanity Goes to Die

I’m not gonna sugarcoat it — Koboh is enormous and it holds the majority of Jedi Survivor’s collectibles. We’re talking like 150+ items on one planet. My first playthrough, I thought I was being thorough by exploring every cave I found. Turns out I missed about 40% of the stuff.

The trick with Koboh is that huge chunks of it are locked behind abilities you don’t get until way later in the story. So my biggest tip? Don’t stress about getting everything on your first visit. I wasted literal hours trying to reach a chest in the Basalt Rift before I had the right traversal upgrade. Felt real silly about that one.

For a really solid visual walkthrough of Koboh’s trickiest collectibles, this video helped me out a ton:

Force Essences and Stim Canisters — The Ones You Actually Need

Look, cosmetics are fun and all, but the collectibles that genuinely change your experience are Force Essences and Stim Canisters. Every three Force Essences of the same type give you a permanent upgrade. That’s huge, especially on harder difficulties.

I played through most of the game on Jedi Master difficulty, and I was getting absolutely wrecked by certain bosses. Then I went back and grabbed a bunch of health essences I’d missed. Night and day difference, seriously. The Stim Canisters are equally critical — you start with just a couple of heals, and by endgame you can have ten if you’ve found them all.

My advice is to prioritize these over everything else. The IGN Jedi Survivor wiki has solid maps showing where each one is located, planet by planet.

The Databank Entries Will Test Your Patience

These are the sneakiest collectibles by far. Some databank entries are triggered just by walking near a specific rock or scanning a random wall with BD-1. I missed a ton of them because I forgot to scan basically everything in sight. My rule now? If BD-1’s little antenna perks up, you stop and scan immediately. No exceptions.

Some entries are also tied to NPC conversations that you can only trigger at certain story points. That drove me absolutely bonkers on my first run.

Keep the Adventure Going

Collecting everything in Jedi Survivor is genuinely one of the most satisfying completion experiences in recent action games. Take your time with it, revisit planets after new abilities, and don’t be afraid to use guides when you’re stuck — there’s no shame in that game. I promise your completionist brain will thank you.
